History of Kings Lodge

Kings Lodge received its Charter to practice Masonry under the jurisdiction of Fitzgerald Temple Grand Lodge of the State of North Carolina International Free & Accepted Modern Masons & Order of Eastern Stars in July 2005 becoming officially known as Kings Lodge #106 International F&AM Masons. The first Worshipful Master of Kings Lodge was Brother Roy L. Durham and our current Worshipful Master is Brother Robert C. Wilson Jr.

Kings Lodge has been known as a young and progressive lodge for its philanthropy and restoration efforts as it strived to make a difference within the community.

Kings Lodge has been as active participant in the " Adopt- A- Highway" program as well volunteering at the Salvation Army soup kitchen on a monthly basis. In most recent years the brothers of Kings Lodge have taken on the responsibility of annually adopting a family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. In keeping with the direction of community service, Kings Lodge has strongly pursued the feed the homeless initiative and has also partnered with the Wake County Boys' Club where they hold an annual Career Day and have established a scholarship to send needy children in the community to summer programs provided by the Wake County Boys' Club.

As the organization continues to work with new and innovative strategies, Kings Lodge has placed itself at the forefront of self-enlightenment, community assistance, and moral responsibility.
